Meeting Announcements

This Saturday

Apparently nobody is maintaining this site anymore, but there is a meeting today, from what I've heard.

Hello Asterisk Users and those with an Interest in VoIP Technology,

The agenda for our March meeting is: VOIP Basics at the Twin Cities Maker location. I'll bring a simple computer with Asterisk running with a few extensions. I'll probably cover a little of the history of Asterisk and have a few other things for "show and tell". I'll bring a few copies of the latest CD for PBX in a Flash for people that want to try it on their own equipment.

Is there a meeting THIS Sat?

So I did not get a response to the last request for meeting information and I did not show up. There was a meeting and I guess I missed out. Can someone please post info about a meeting for this Sat, May 9th.

Thanks

Free SIP Monitoring, Diagnostic and Recording Tool - Feedback Wanted

Hi all,

Aman here from Devfoundry Software. We recently made the free edition of our VoIP Aware software available for download and I was hoping to get some feedback from the group.

It is available now for Windows and Linux and can found on our website @ www.voipaware.com.

To give you some background, Devfoundry is a software company based in Toronto. VoIP Aware is our proactive SIP call monitoring and diagnostics solution for voice and fax over IP.

Is there a meeting this Sat?

I was just wondering if there was going to be a meeting this weekend. I would hate to drive to the cities to find I was having a meeting of 1. One is the loneliest number you know.

Thanks

May Meeting

First of all I would like to thank everyone at the meeting, this was my first tcaug meeting, I felt very welcome there. The topics covered were very interesting I understood the concepts, but being new to Linux and Asterisk it was a bit overwhelming. It has increased my interest and excitement for Asterisk. The possibilities seem unlimited.

Video Phones?

I know that a couple of people won some of the Grandstream video phones at a past meeting and was wondering if you used them or if anyone else has any experience with some video phones? I've used the really nice Cisco 7985's at work but they are a little out of my price range!

Thanks!

Phone Supplier in MN???

Asterisk proposal

I've been using Asterisk as a toy on my test bench up until now and am looking to write a proposal to make it a reality. We are a Pk-12 school distributed across three campuses so I'd eventually be looking at having an Asterisk box at each campus, connecting them with Dundi (?). Right now I'm looking to create a proposal for the Asterisk server that will be at our campus which processes the most calls daily. There are roughly about 200 phones that would be deployed on this campus, I'd also want a few conference lines available.

New member here

I just became a member of the website and while I live in Chicago, we do not currently have an active Asterisk Users Group. Since, geographically, we are close, I was wondering if I'd still be allowed to be a part of the site and perhaps join the meetings via teleconference or something. I am also interested in DUNDi peering and could provide a DUNDi link to the Chicago metro area. I see some DUNDi peers in this user group posted at voip-info.org, but am not sure if you are still pursuing DUNDi as a group.

Thank you for your consideration.
